Atlist: The conscious community we’ve all been dreaming of?
Sustainable living…what does it really mean? When first coined, the word sustainability captured a very powerful concept. It's many definitions boil down to the idea of living in a way that ensures that the resources available today will continue to be available for an indefinite number of future generations. Sadly, the term has been almost completely co-opted by corporations, governments and international financial institutions. Meaning that today we live in a world that is seriously UN-sustainable.
The majority of us dream of living our lives in a more sustainable manner. Research shows that increasingly ‘green’ features are more important in purchasing deliberations than low prices and strong brand names. But as time poor people with demanding jobs and equally as busy personal lives, living sustainably with the current options and information we have can seem very difficult.
If only there was a platform that brought together all your sustainable living options in an easy, categorisable (I don’t think that’s a word but it works here!) list that you can shop directly from. Making conscious purchases as easy as…

I’m really excited to have been asked to be a contributor to Atlist’s wishlists and community. This means I’ll be doing the web scouring and the adding of conscious products and lifestyle alternatives to build up the options on the site. I’ll be focusing on eco-friendly beauty and travel, but Atlist have got experts from across the sustainable community covering everything from ethical fashion to personal hygiene products. Currently, Atlist is an invite only platform, so the best thing about being a contributor is that I get to bring you beautiful people along with me.
